Taking the time
To like a poem
Or comment
Or follow,
I thank you.
Your interest
And support
Has nourished
This writer’s heart
And strengthened
My resolve to
Keep making things
With words.
To say we do this
Writing thing
For its own sake
Is only partly true,
For me
It wouldn’t be
Nearly as much fun
Without you.
