I learn I’ve earned a top fan badge for God,
the news reaches my notifications
and it makes me laugh on a couple fronts,
the first of which is the genius here:
to be the first person to have the guts
to make a Facebook profile page for God
who’s antithetical to “churchiness,”
antagonistic toward all dogma,
calling out hypocrisy anywhere,
invokes conversation, a sense of fun,
the kind of God even an atheist
would like, no preaching, proselytizing.
I guess that makes me, by God, a top fan.
I’ve earned a badge for my belief, hot damn.
