#524: Naming a Dog

I’ve always thought that
a good name for a dog
would be the noises
your modem used to make
when connecting to
the internet, that kind
of R2D2 series of seven beeps
followed by white noise:

Beedoobeepbeepboodeeboo:
Kkkkhhhhaaaaaaaaahhhhh.

It would be fun
running around the house
calling for the dog,
or in the park, introducing
the dog to other dogs
with dog names such as Pete,
Rudy, Patches, Snickers,
and Dog. Their human would say,
this is Dog, and you’d say,
this here is the one and only:

Beedoobeepbeepboodeeboo:
Kkkkhhhhaaaaaaaaahhhhh.
